Patch 1.05 for Armed Assault 2 will include alot of great new things, an Apache attach heli, a mini campain and lots of bug-fixes/new features. Check out the quotes and video below.

"The “Eagle Wing“ mini-campaign expands upon one of the seven unique endings of the original ARMA 2 over two extensive new levels; It's the year 2012, the war in Chernarus has overgrown into a conflict between the USA and the Russian Federation. The player finds themselves caught in the middle of an escalating conflict. As a pilot of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, the player's task seems easy - to get behind enemy lines and attack. However the situation is about to change rapidly."

"Amongst other things the 1.05 patch features a new warfare mode "When Diplomacy Fails", including 3-side support for diplomacy between all factions allowing players to enjoy the strategic part of the game in a size never seen before."

Tangodown.nl reports on news that a public beta of the Armed Assault 2 mod A.C.E.2 will become available next week. Below a part of the original announcement by the A.C.E. team:

"Today we would like to announce our plans for a Public Release. As with ACE1, we have decided to start with a Public Beta Release, planned for the week of 7 December.
We intend to keep updating our Mod on a daily basis in this Public Beta stage. We do this to get as much feedback and bug reports as possible, as soon as possible, and provide everyone the latest code to test."

A period of inactivity has hit the website and it's visitors the past few weeks. Due to a busy personal life, work and family matters kept me of updating the website frequently. During this period, Operation Flashpoint 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has been released and talked about alot on the www.
