Today, the great news was released that John Carmack will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Carmack started id software back in 1991, a series of record breaking games followed like Wolf 3d, Doom series, Quake series, Wolfenstein series and many more.
Carmack is seen as the pioneer in the 3d/fps gaming industry!
This is a well deserved achievement for a person who is responsible for this fps part of the game-industrie we know nowadays and we like to play so much!
